After the Rain...Pink Sunsets Happen

Last night the Friday-evening plan was to check out Photoville, a new "photo destination" that inserts over 30 photographer's work in freight containers on a pier in Brooklyn Bridge Park. (Didn't you know, organizing events in shipping containers is a big thing in Brooklyn??) The thunder-stormy weather was not cooperating with our outdoor excursion, but Taz, Julia, Tracey and I decided to check it out anyway. After a monsoon-like rain passed, the sun started to break, and we got to the Brooklyn Bridge Park waterfront right in time for a pink-sky sunset...

So we took some pictures...

See more of the pink sky after the jump....

We never did get to see the exhibit (they closed down the containers due to the assaulting rain!), but its happening for a week (till July 1st) so we'll be back! And the sunset in itself was worth it...
