Its the start of the Labor Day Weekend, and my bags are packed and I'm ready to go....camping!(Again!) Seeing as how this is only my third time camping (ever), I'm not exactly an expert on what's needed for this type of outdoor excursion - but I do like to be as prepared as I can. And I LOVE to write lists. So I'm sharing my 'what to pack for a weekend of camping' list here. This list was adapted from my friend Kristin, who wrote one for our white-water-rafting trip back in June. Since I found it so helpful the first time, I decided to share it with the group we're going with this time around. And I added a few things along the way! Here it is..
I thought this was pretty thorough, but a few things did get added via the group-email that's been going around for that past 2 months in preparation for this weekend getaway. Mainly - REAL COFFEE (my friends weren't feeling the instant idea, and I don't blame them!) A kettle, a one-cup coffee pot, and a french press all got added to the list!! And at one point someone said they were bringing an inflatable hot tub. I'm not sure if they were joking or not, but I'm curious to see what unfolds from their car when they arrive!
So...What else am I missing??
Have a Happy Labor Day Weekend!
