After a family-filled weekend in RI (which was somewhat poorly documented - I thought I took lots of photos but turns out 90% of them were of my sister Kim's new puppy - a Maltese-Daschund mix), I'm back to my regular-NYC schedule. And I haven't forgotten about What's Cooking Wednesdays just yet. But I don't have anything cooking this week! Next week is market week in my office for Spring/Summer 13, so we are busy preparing for that, while also designing for Fall 13. So I'm breaking my routine and buying my lunch this week. (By the way this can be a really exciting, option-filled activity for someone who brown-bags it every day!)
I'm tempted sometimes to scrap my cooking posts, but it was nice while in RI to hear that at least my family members enjoy reading them! (With the exception of my brother who asked me "what's up with that blog thing? why do I care that you're eating pasta & peas?!") Honestly, I don't really know why you all care, but I appreciate that you do! (And for the record there are no pasta & pea recipes on here, but I'll assume he was referring to this post.)
And now I'm feeling the pressure to keep up with my kitchen experiments, since I got 3 different olive oils/balsamic vinegar for my birthday! Obviously everyone knows I like to cook!...
But wait that's not ALL. Here's where the fashion comes in...
Its an Olive Oil bottle DRESS. (Actually a Kimono?) How cute/ridiculous is that?! Only my Mom finds things like this!
Ok, I hope you found at least found that entertaining! Next week I promise I'll try to cook something!
