Cotton is primarily a painter, who for years has been incorporating candy and other sweets into his work. For this New York mag editorial, he replicated some of spring's top designs with edible materials (i.e. cake, frosting, and rock candy). For some photos, garments are completely re-worked into yummy creations, while in other shots Fanning wears the original design and is surrounded by Candy Land-esque props created by Cotton.
I just love everything about these photographs - the colors, the candy, the props, and the sharp contrast of the images!
